Description:

Engines, motors, and rotating machinery produce distinct sound patterns that are analyzed by RPMmtr to determine RPM (rotational speed) through cutting-edge signal processing technology.
The estimation results are showcased in three different views. The tachometer view offers a quick glance at the rotational speed, with the clarity of the measurement indicated by the color of the dial. By adjusting the red ring control, you can refine the results by specifying the expected RPM range.
For a historical perspective, the tracking view displays the evolution of rotational speed over time, with the accuracy of measurements represented by the size and color of circles.
Experts can delve into the spectrogram view, where the frequency distribution of sound is graphically depicted. Rotational speeds are identified by small arrows, and axes scaling adjustment can be done with a simple finger swipe.
It should be noted that for accurate results, the app requires very clear sound patterns with one frequency and no background noise present to estimate rotational speed reliably.
